medication management

Psychiatric medications are vitally important for people struggling with serious mental illness such as bipolar disorder, schizophrenia or severe depression. Other conditions such as trauma, mild to moderate depression, anxiety and insomnia may benefit as well when combined with psychotherapy and lifestyle modifications.

We offer 60-minute new patient appointments and 30-minute follow-ups on our virtual healthcare platform. These times are designed to have you feel heard and understood, not rushed.

Please be advised that our practice does not prescribe controlled substances. This includes, but is not limited, to benzodiazepines (such as Xanax, Klonopin, etc), Opioid pain medications, and stimulant medications (including Ritalin or Adderall).

ketamine-assisted psychotherapy

Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, or “KAP”, is a treatment approach that uses low doses of an anesthetic medication called ketamine to manage mental health conditions such as treatment-resistant depression, anxiety disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Ketamine produces a short-lived subjective experience which, with the guidance of a therapist, could lead to positive changes in affect, insight, motivation, cognition, and behavior. If you would like more information about KAP or think this treatment approach may be right for you, please contact our office.
