A psychiatric evaluation is usually the starting point — whether you're seeking care for the first time, coming to us after a change in providers, or want a second opinion on a diagnosis you've already received. We take the time to actually get to know you, not just check boxes on a symptom list.

• A conversation about your current symptoms, your history, and what's brought you in

• Discussion of your goals — what "better" would actually look like for you

• A collaborative plan, which may include medication, a referral to therapy, or both

• Straightforward answers about what happens next
